Bigay Puso sa Pasko Year 5: Sharing the Gift of Christmas to the Kids of Lupang Pangako Elementary School at Payatas

It was not long ago when me and a few other friends helped out at Lupang Pangako Elementary School to give out school supplies to the 200 poorest kids during their Christmas Party.

Just as an overview, here was my blog post last year. Plus these photos from the event:

And if you are wondering.. Yes, we'll try to do it again this year!

I could say that even though I just started helping out last year that the crowdfunding effort was a success and I want to do this again this year, with your help.

Here are the items we need for the gifts:

200 pcs notebooks
200 pcs pencils
200 boxes of crayons
200 pcs tumblers
200 pcs face towels
200 food containers

This year is pretty busy because of my work and I encourage everyone to donate these items instead of cash. Some people also approached me asking if they can donate cash and I decline these donations but this would go more on the logistics side.

I already did my first rounds at social media and look at these items on hand, with special thanks to Allen Yatco!

122 pcs pencils

5 boxes of 8-pc crayons

3 pcs Grade 1 pads

Also got some pledges from other kind people from as early as August 2015 to make this project possible. Can't thank these people enough.

You can help us by doing the following:

  • Sharing this post on social media and asking your friends if any would want to help out
  • Reaching out if you want to donate by tweeting me, e-mailing at kristel[at]intransitph.com, or messaging me at Facebook

I hope you'll share the joy with the kids of Lupang Pangako Elementary School through this project!  :)
